We have recently become aware of a potential security risk involved in obtaining insurance assessments and would like to alert you thereof.
A couple, a few days after having their valuables assessed, were held up at their home. The perpetrator asked them for very specific items, which happened to be some of the items assessed, and it can only assumed that they obtained the details of the valuation and their home address via a security leak at the insurance/assessment company.
For your security we would like to make you aware of this and encourage you to be extra cautious when answering your door, or entering your property, after dealing with matters of this nature. Awareness is of utmost importance!
